Our school has 24 air conditioned class-rooms, cafeteria and a study room/internet centre.

Taxis are the main mode of transportation and are very cheap.

Course Description

ECA / MSA 2 week Course

ECA

ECA is the spoken language of Egypt and the most widely understood Arabic dialect in the Middle East due to its popular usage in media and music. With our participatory teaching methodology, and our focus on small classes, students can quickly progress through our levels to a point where they can really begin speaking to native speakers. Our ECA course program has 12 levels, ranging from Beginners (Level One) to Advanced (Level 12).

MSA

MSA is the written language of Arabic. MSA or 'Fus'ha' is used in academia and the formal media, meaning that as students progress they become able to follow Middle Eastern current affairs and read Arabic literature and Islamic texts. The objective of our MSA courses is to enable you to read and write at an appropriate academic level, and to enable you to follow current day-to-day events in the Middle East and North Africa.

Our  MSA course program has 13 levels, ranging from Beginners (Level One) to Advanced (Level 13).

Combined

We offers an intensive combined ECA and MSA program. Learn ECA and MSA simultaneously to fully immerse yourself in the Arabic language and make the most of your time in an Arabic-speaking country.

Survival Arabic course

Egyptian Colloquial Arabic is the spoken language that is used in verbal everyday communication by Egyptians. If you have arrived recently to Cairo, either for work, study or living, you will definitely need to communicate with local Egyptians using the Egyptian Colloquial Arabic Language. This course is addressing busy candidates who need to learn the essential part of Arabic Colloquial to survive, using the language in their daily activities.

Special Arabic Courses

Media

The course helps the students to master the core vocabulary and structure of the printed and internet news media. It enables the students to read extended authentic texts. We teach many topics about the Arabic media such as Elections, conflicts and terrorism, meeting and conferences, demonstrations, business and finance. The course requires a post intermediate level of MSA (level 6) or above and at least 2 students to open a Media class. 

History and Society

The course gives an introduction to the political, social and cultural conditions in Egypt and other Arabic speaking countries with the main focus on the 20th century.  The course helps student to have a varied insight into the most important factors that have influenced the actual situation in the Middle East. The course focuses on the political and social conditions in the Arabic speaking countries such as Jordan, Syria, Emirates, Yemen, Algeria, Palestine and Morocco and the most important factors that have influenced the actual situation in the Middle East.

Religion and Culture

The course helps student to improve his/her knowledge of the actual religious and cultural conditions in the Arabic speaking countries and be able to analyze the relation between various relevant means of cultural expressions and society. The historical background may be included to the extent that is necessary to understand the present situation.

Commercial Communications 

The course helps and trains the student to use Arabic in situations that are typical for commercial communication with and within the Arabic speaking countries.

The course includes official and unofficial communications.

Grammar

The course helps the student to write the Arabic language properly and uses it in reading books and follows the media.

Literature

The course studies examples of the old and contemporary Arabic poetry, prose, plays, novels, short stories and articles.

We aim to give our students an understanding of not only the Arabic language but also Egyptian culture and history. To achieve this we offer a variety of both in house social activities and outside trips.
